KOSOVO: FOUR SERBIAN POLICE OFFICERS WOUNDED & ATTACKS CONTINUE

( Editorial: --> 1239 ) PRISTINA, May 3 (Hina) - Four Serbian police officers were severely injured in an attack on a police patrol in the village of Ponoshevac, Djakovica municipality, the Pristina-based Serbian Information Centre, close to the authorities, reported on Sunday. Police were still searching for the attackers. Kosovo Albanian sources in Pristina have not confirmed the report. An Albanian correspondent for Radio "Voice of America", who visited the Albanian-Yugoslav border on Sunday, reported from Tirana about today's attacks of Serbian forces in the area of Ponoshevac. According to the report, Serbian forces were attacking Ponoshevac with heavy artillery. Artillery attacks on other villages in Djakovica and Decani municipalities continued today, the report said.
