STRONG FORCES OF YUGOSLAV ARMY ENTER DECANI

( Editorial: --> 9545 ) PRISTINA, Apr 26 (Hina) - Strong forces of the Yugoslav army arrived in Decani, a town 100km west of Kosovo capital Pristina, the Kosovo Information Centre (KIC) reported Saturday evening. The army passed through the town with 25 tanks, several armoured vehicles and 40 trucks. The situation in the Decani municipality has been very difficult lately following attacks Serb forces made on several villages in the area. Today four Albanians from Decani municipality were abducted and their fate remains unknown, the KIC also reported. The bodies of several Albanian young men killed by the Serbian army in Koshar, on the Yugoslav-Albanian border, two days ago, were brought to Herec, municipality of Djakovica, Saturday evening. It has not been specified how many bodies were brought. The Democratic Alliance of Kosovo, the strongest Kosovo Albanian party, yesterday evening called on the international community to use every mechanism at its disposal to stop the "Serb aggression against Kosovo Albanians". The situation in the south Yugoslav province is deteriorating by the hour, the party's presidency said. It is becoming very dangerous due to the Serbian forces' attacks in villages of the Decani and Djakovica municipalities in the past three days and the killings of Albanians especially in villages bordering with Albania.
