PRISTINA, April 18 (Hina) - One hundred and four Kosovo Albanians
have been killed in the first three months of this year as a result
of the Serbian state terror in this Yugoslav province.
The Kosovo Human rights Protection Committee reported that 22
Albanians had also been listed as missing during those three
months.
The Committee warned the local and international public that
violence and the violations of human rights and freedoms had
increased as compared to previous years.
The Serbian police had burned down or demolished 71 Kosovo Albanian
houses in two Kosovo municipalities, and some villages in the
Drenica municipality have been besieged by police for over a month
and a half, the Committee said.
The Kosovo Human Rights Protection Committee especially pointed
out the killings in Likosani, Qirez, Donji Prekaz, Lausi and other
villages in the Drenica area. Around 80 Kosovo Albanians were
killed, including elderly people, women and children.
