SARAJEVO, April 30 (Hina) - Member of the Bosnia-Herzegovina
Presidency, Kresimir Zubak, on Thursday in Sarajevo received the
United States' special envoy for military stabilisation James
Pardew and discussed with him a recent donors' conference which was
meant to encourage the implementation of the "Equip and Train"
programme.
During today's meeting, the two men assessed the process of
military integration to date, concluding that it should continue,
said a statement by Zubak's office.
In the near future the decision on joint symbols and ranks should be
applied, which was earlier worked out by the Federation of Bosnia-
Herzegovina Defence Ministry, the statement also said.
Zubak and Pardew openly discussed the need for a thorough analyses
of the situation in the Federation Army, especially regarding its
finances. Like in other institutions, Army financing should be
transparent, public and in line with the needs and resources of the
Federation.
