SARAJEVO, April 22 (Hina) - The Croat member of the Bosnian
Presidency Kresimir Zubak and the head of the UN Mission in Bosnia-
Herzegovina, Elizabeth Rehn, met in Sarajevo on Wednesday to
discuss the reorganisation of the police force and the situation in
Drvar, western Bosnia.
The two officials discussed ways of reorganising the police force
in the Bosnian Croat-controlled town. Rehn asserted that the
international community would apply equal principles in the
process of reorganisation, a statement from Zubak's office said.
The establishment of a mixed police force would not completely
prevent new incidents since some 8,000 Croat refugees were
accommodated in Drvar and little was being done to help them return
to their homes, it was said at the meeting.
Zubak also met US Ambassador Richard Kauzlarich today.
The talks focused on the recent Federation Forum, the situation in
the Croat-Muslim Federation Army, the forthcoming conference on
the return of refugees in Banja Luka and the latest draft agreements
on special relations between Croatia and the Federation.
