BELGRADE, April 21 (Hina) - Yugoslavia's Deputy Foreign Minister
Radoslav Bulajic on Tuesday delivered protocols on the navigation
regime on the Danube River to ambassadors of countries-signatories
to the Danube Convention, said a statement from the Yugoslav
Foreign Ministry.
The Austrian, German, Bulgarian, Croatian, Hungarian, Rumanian,
Russian, Slovak and Ukrainian ambassadors received an Additional
Protocol, signed on 26 March, on implementation of the 1948

After the protocol comes into force, it will create a "legal
foundation for cooperation of all Danubian countries in regards to
the navigation regime on the Danube", reads the statement.
Belgrade is the trustee of the Convention on the Navigation Regime
on the Danube since the Danube Convention was signed in Belgrade in
1948.
