POLICE STATION IN PRISTINA ATTACKED

( Editorial: --> 6600 ) PRISTINA, April 14 (Hina) - Around midnight on Monday an armed attack was carried out on a police station in the Pristina suburb of Vranjevac (with Albanian residents). According to the Serbian radio Pristina, two hand grenades were thrown in the yard of the police station. A Serbian police officer was lightly wounded in the attack. The explosion caused minor material damage. Police are still searching for the perpetrators. Citing eyewitnesses, the Kosovo Information Centre said the attack was staged by the police, adding that two police vehicles were seen moving near the police station prior to the explosion.
