MOSTAR, Sept 3
(Hina) - A two-day international conference on the
implementation of European and international law in countries in
transition ended in Mostar on Saturday with calls on authorities of
Bosnia and Herzegovina to adjust the national legislation to
international standards so as to be able to face challenges of the
country's integration into the European Union.
The conference was organised by the the German foundation for international legal cooperation (IRZ), the Hanns Seidel foundation and the Stability Pact with the support of the German government.
It drew legal experts from Croatia, Austria, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina who concluded that Bosnia would have to align a large number of laws with the EU standards.
