SARAJEVO, March 9 (Hina) - The foundation of the American multi-
millionaire George Soros, which operates in Bosnia-Herzegovina as
the Open Society of B-H, has helped that country with DM150 million
to date, president of the Open Society Institute in New York, Aryeh
Neier, told Monday's media conference in Sarajevo.
Neier said that all the aid was directed to charity, education and
art projects as well as the development of independent
publications. He added that supporting independent publications is
Soros Foundation's main task in B-H in the next period.
He praised the work of the Open Society Fund in B-H, saying that it
is one of the most successful in the whole Soros Foundation
network.
