OSIJEK, Mar 2 (Hina) - The Konrad Adenauer Foundation of Germany is
prepared to offer its experience to assist in the process of
establishing trust and normalising life in the Croatian Danube
River region, said a statement following Monday's meeting of the
Osijek-Baranja County Prefect Anica Horvat and Gregor Ryssel, the
foundation's representative for the former Yugoslavia, based in
Sarajevo.
According to Ryssel, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation could hold
seminars at which its experts would talk about municipal
administration, roles of the mayor and leadership, structure and
organisation of local authorities and self-government and
progressing the economy, said the statement.
The Foundation is also prepared to offer part of that program to
municipalities in the Danubian Region.
Horvat considers this offer as being useful.
