SVINJAREVCI, Feb 20 (Hina) - Teams of the Government Commission for
Imprisoned and Missing Persons on Friday in the eastern Croatian
village of Svinjarevci exhumed the remains of 15 people killed
during the Serb aggression and occupation.
Twelve bodies were dug out from graves at the cemetery in
Svinjarevci, while three were recovered near the road.
Commission chairman Colonel Ivan Grujic said exhumation teams in
the Vukovar-Sirmium County had dug up about 500 bodies of people
killed during the Serb aggression. About 80 per cent of the bodies
have been identified.
Svinjarevci is in the area which was under UN transitional
administration until 15 January.
