SARAJEVO, 17 Feb (Hina) - Ambassadors appointed by the three member
Presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina, for the first time gathered in
Sarajevo on Tuesday where they are taking part in a 10 day
preparation for diplomatic duties.
Addressing the 33 gathered ambassadors - appointed in accordance
with the trinational structure of the population - BH Foreign
Minister Jadranko Prlic said they will have the primary task of
representing the state of Bosnia-Herzegovina and acting in the
interests of its citizens.
"You do not answer to the entities nor the minister or his deputy but
to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in whole," said Prlic.
The newly appointed ambassadors also met with members of the B-H
Presidency and they discussed the country's foreign policy.
During their preparatory course, the ambassadors will separately
talk with members of the Council of Ministers and governments of the
two entities.
Together they will visit Neum and Banja Luka.
