HNV:DECISION ON ELECTION RESULTS SHOULD BE LEFT TO CROATIA CITIZENS

SARAJEVO, Dec 31 (Hina) - The Croatian National Council of Bosnia- Herzegovina (HNV) on Friday called on Bosnian Croats to leave a decision on the outcome of Croatia's coming parliamentary election to citizens in Croatia. According to a statement signed by the HNV President Ivo Komsic, calls on Bosnian Croats to go to the polls (organised for Croatia's election) which were issued by the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) were just the continuation of a wrong policy of that political party toward the Bosnian Croat population. The HNV advised that Croats in Bosnia-Herzegovina be oriented toward serious preparations for elections scheduled for this spring in Bosnia-Herzegovina, as that event should mark the fresh start of coexistence in peace, freedom, and equality with other peoples in Bosnia. The preparations should be based on the pre-requisite that all three peoples (Croats, Moslems or Bosniaks, and Serbs) are constituent on the entire territory of the country.
