In his introductory speech, Petritsch stressed that the establishment of the Federation Radio Television was of an extreme significance for the reorganisation of the overall radio-television system in Bosnia-Herzegovina, which would, in the future, be based on the existence of the two entities' radio televisions with the support of the strong central public radio television service at the state level. The High Representative demanded that the Council ensured the
protection of interest of common people.
Appointed first president of the council is Kemal Hrustanovic and
his deputy is Slavo Kukic.
