ZAGREB, Dec 21 (Hina) - A joint committee for economic cooperation between Slovenia and Croatia at Tuesday's session assessed the economic cooperation between the two countries successful, stressing, however, that not all
possibilities for its promotion had been used. According to Croatian Deputy Economy Minister Jasna Boric and secretary at the Slovene Ministry for Economic Relations Vojka Ravbar, the Committee considered further forms of the promotion of the economic cooperation between the two countries. The two officials stressed that at the session it was agreed that a sub-committee for property rights issues of the two countries be established. between Slovenia and Croatia at Tuesday's session assessed the
economic cooperation between the two countries successful,
stressing, however, that not all possibilities for its promotion

According to Croatian Deputy Economy Minister Jasna Boric and
secretary at the Slovene Ministry for Economic Relations Vojka
Ravbar, the Committee considered further forms of the promotion of
the economic cooperation between the two countries.
The two officials stressed that at the session it was agreed that a
sub-committee for property rights issues of the two countries be
established. The two sides also supported the signing of an
agreement on cooperation in tourism and further cooperation in the
exchange of medicines.
According to Boris and Ravbar, information on the current economic
situation in both countries and information on processes of
Slovenia's and Croatia's joining European and world economic
integration were also exchanged at the session.
The two parties reached a consensus regarding the implementation of
a part of the Stability Pact for Southeast Europe which refers to
the concrete economic cooperation. Both parties agreed on the issue
of maintaining individual and not regional joining of countries of
Southeastern Europe the European Union, said Boric.
The second phase of the implementation of the Free Trade Agreement,
which begins on January 1, 2000, will have a significant role in the
further promotion of the exchange between the two countries.
