FAMILIES ASK INT. REPRESENTATIVE IN BOSNIA TO HELP SEEK MISSING CROATS

BUGOJNO, Dec 15 (Hina) - The society of writers of Herzeg-Bosnia, an association that tries to establish what happened with missing Bugojno Croats and the Roman Catholic parish of Bugojno (central Bosnia) asked the international community's High Representative to Bosnia-Herzegovina, Wolfgang Petritsch, Bosnia's three-man Presidency and Bugojno municipal authorities to spare no efforts in search of 21 Croats whose whereabouts have been unknown since the Moslem-Croat conflict. They forwarded their requests on Tuesday evening during the presentation of a book of poems written by a teacher and journalist Frano Jezidzic, who is one of the 21 missing Bugojno Croats. According to the letter forwarded to political factors, all efforts made so far to shed more light on the destiny of 21 missing Croats have yielded no result, while people who arrested those Croats, who were their gaolers

According to the same source, upon their apprehension those Bosnian Croats had contacted their families and relatives via the International Red Cross but soon after as if they disappeared without trace so that up to now nothing has been learnt of their destiny.
