ZAGREB ZAGREB, Nov 23 (Hina) - A publication entitled "The Black Book - About the Horrors of the Communist Rule in Croatia" was presented in Zagreb on Tuesday. The book was prepared for printing by Msgr. Juraj Batelja, who also
amended the publication with notes. The book was written in 1946 in Zagreb by an unknown author, said Batelja, adding the publication was a contribution to "The Black Book of Communism", published in France in 1997. According to this extensive work, Communism in Europe claimed the lives of one million people. Batelja said the book was dedicated primarily to Croatian priests - the victims of Communism. Batelja reminded that during his visit to Maribor, Slovenia, on September 19, the Holy Father had warned about the victims discovered in mass graves around Maribor, stressing they must never be forgotten.
