COMMEMORATIVE SESSION OF ZG CITY ASSEMBLY AND AUTHORITIES HELD

ZAGREB, Dec 12 (Hina) - On the occasion of the death of Croatian President Franjo Tudjman, a commemorative session of the Zagreb City Assembly and the Zagreb City Authorities was held in the Old City Hall Sunday. Present at the session, observed a minute of silence to pay tribute to President Tudjman. On behalf of the city of Zagreb, president of the City Assembly Zlatko Canjuga and Zagreb mayor Marina Matulovic-Dropulic said the words of farewell, gratitude and respect. "The news about the death of President Tudjman, the creator of the independent, free, and democratic state of Croatian, was one of the most painful moments of the Croatian history and the city of Zagreb", Canjuga said.
