Luzanski told reporters the leaflet was the continuation of constant media pressure Croatia and the Croatian Government had been exposed to in the last couple of months. This happens in a town which has been undeservedly named a multiethnic and multicultural town of tolerance by the international community, he said. Consul Zagorscak asked town and canton authorities to urgently explain the background of the incident. The information service of the Tuzla Canton Interior Ministry said the police had received no official reports about the appearance or distribution of the leaflets and therefore had not initiated an investigation.
