Jakovcic and the head of the IDS election headquarters, Valter Drandic, were today distributing preservatives at the town market in the Istrian town of Pula within a campaign, held under the motto "NO AIDS - YES IDS". The event was organised on the occasion of marking the world day of the fight against AIDS. Jakovcic said the campaign was aimed at warning the public about the

"With this drive we also wanted to say to our political rivals that
their adding the letter A in front of the name of our party, which
they used to do during previous campaigns, is in vain. Since we are
facing one of the most important campaigns so far, we wanted to tell
them that their efforts are really in vain", Jakovcic said.
