ZAGREB, Nov 23 (Hina) - The presidents of the parties making Croatia's Opposition Six coalition on Tuesday postponed a visit they were to make to Brussels on Wednesday due to the overall situation in the country, Ivan Jakovcic of the
Istrian Democratic Assembly (IDS) told Hina.

The presidents of the Social Democratic Party, the Croatian Social
Liberal Party, the Croatian Peasants' Party, the Croatian People's
Party, the Liberal Party, and Jakovcic recently accepted an
official invitation to visit the European Commission (EC)
headquarters on 24 November, and the NATO headquarters in Brussels
the day after.
"I informed (EC representative in Croatia) Per Vinther that we are
postponing the visit to Brussels until further notice, due to the
overall situation in the country," Jakovcic said.
He said he told Vinther he regretted the postponement, and that
Vinther "showed great interest in the latest situation in Croatia,
and promised he would explain it to officials in Brussels."
