with a decision made by the Croatian Supreme Court today. The Supreme Court today quashed the verdict of the court of first instance due to serious breaches of criminal proceedings and returned the case to the Osijek County Court.(hina) rml
OSIJEK, Nov 24 (Hina) - Members of the so-called 'Sodolovci group',
whom the Osijek County Court sentenced to prison on May 27, 1999 for
the war crime against civilians, were released on Wednesday from
the Osijek county prison in line with a decision made by the
Croatian Supreme Court today.
The Supreme Court today quashed the verdict of the court of first
instance due to serious breaches of criminal proceedings and
returned the case to the Osijek County Court.
