ZAGREB, Nov 5 (Hina) - The trial against Vinko Sindicic, accused of having killed a Croatian emigrant in Paris in 1978, will begin on Monday before the Zagreb County Court. The indictment against Sindicic, raised on October 10, is
accusing him of having shot to death political emigrant Bruno Busic in Paris on October 16, 1978, by order of the former Yugoslav state security service, SDS. Busic's remains were transported back to his homeland Croatia from Paris on the day of his murder, October 16 of this year and buried at Zagreb's cemetery Mirogoj. The indictment is founded on the statements by 24 witnesses, mostly former employees of the SDS. Sindicic has stated he was not guilty of Busic's murder nor any assassination of any Croatian political emigrant. Sindicic was in 1988 found guilty and sentenced to 15 years in prison in Scotland for the attempted murder of political emigrant Nikola Stedul, and has served two-thirds

Sindicic's extradition from Scottish authorities, which occurred
