ZAGREB ZAGREB, Nov 23 (Hina) - A seminar called "Prison Personnel: European Standards and National Practice" is taking place in Zagreb on Tuesday and Wednesday, in the organisation of the Council of Europe and the Croatian Ministry of
Justice. The Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday the seminar is being held as part of ADACS, a programme for the development and strengthening of democratic stability, and that it represents the beginning of a series of activities relative to the modernisation of Croatia's prison system, and harmonisation with Council of Europe standards. Participating in the seminar are experts of the Council of Europe, Portugal, Germany, Norway, and Luxembourg, and officials of Croatian penal bodies.(hina) ha
