BJELOVAR, Nov 16 (Hina) - Croatian Premier Zlatko Matesa on Tuesday inaugurated works on the north extension of a ring-road around the northern Croatian town of Bjelovar. The ring-road will be nine kilometres long and will cost US$6.8
million. It is expected to relieve Bjelovar's centre from traffic coming from Zagreb headed for eastern Slavonia, and contribute to better connections between this and other parts of Croatia. According to a government decision, ground works on the Bjelovar ring-road will be carried out by Croatian army engineering units, while other works will be undertaken by the Croatian Roads Administration.(hina) ha jn
