ZMAJEVAC, Nov 13 (Hina) - Croatian and Hungarian prime ministers Zlatko Matesa and Viktor Orban on Saturday opened a reconstructed Culture House in Zmajevac, in the eastern Croatian region of Baranja. The Hungarian Government
co-financed the reconstruction of the Culture house which had been devastated during the Serb aggression on Croatia. Expressing gratitude to the Croatian Government for care for members of the Hungarian minority in Croatia, Orban stressed the two countries were strategic partners. He recalled the difficult times Croatia had been through on the way of creating an independent state, and stressed that today, Croatia, turned towards the future, was a country which is becoming stronger and more established every day. on Croatia.

members of the Hungarian minority in Croatia, Orban stressed the

On behalf of the Croatian Government, Matesa thanked member of the
Hungarian national minority in Croatia who proved their loyalty and
contribution during the Homeland War.
Members of the Hungarian minority proved love for their homeland,
Croatia, but also their mother country, Hungary, he said.
Croatia is following Hungary's development with satisfaction, as
well as its membership in the NATO and its contribution to stability
in the region.
Premier Orban's government supported Croatia in every situation,
Matesa said, adding that the Croatian Government would exert
maximal efforts to facilitate the life of the Hungarian community
in the country.
At the end of the opening ceremony, the two prime ministers
expressed satisfaction with the two-day talks held during Orban's
visit to Croatia.
