ZAGREB, Nov 11 (Hina) - Croatian Culture Minister Bozo Biskupic on Thursday presented Japanese conductor Kazushi Ono with a medal of the order of the Croatian Morning Star with the image of Marko Marulic, bestowed onto him by Croatian
President Franjo Tudjman. Handing the medal, Biskupic thanked Kazushi for promoting Croatia's music culture in the world. He recalled that Kazushi assisted the performance of the Zagreb philharmonic orchestra in japan during the Homeland War, adding that this had been the best possible way for Croatian music to be presented to the world. Biskupic also expressed gratitude for numerous performances with the Zagreb philharmonic orchestra.
