Talay showed interest in documents regarding Turkey's history and oriental manuscripts. Kolanovic said it would be good for the development of the Croatian historiography to film as many archive sources in Istanbul as possible which are relevant for Croatia's history, because research shows that those sources offer a new perspective on the presence of the Ottoman empire on the territory of Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia. The two officials agreed that it was necessary for the two archives to continue cooperation in line with an agreement signed four years ago. During a tour of the building, Talay showed interest in documents
regarding Turkey's history and oriental manuscripts.
Kolanovic said it would be good for the development of the Croatian
historiography to film as many archive sources in Istanbul as
possible which are relevant for Croatia's history, because

presence of the Ottoman empire on the territory of Bosnia-
Herzegovina and Croatia.

At the end of the visit, Talay gave Kolanovic a copy of the firman by
which the Osmanlis granted Bosnian Catholics religious freedoms,
whereas Kolmanovic presented Talay with a facsimile of Persian
miniatures from Shahnama, a copy of the Golden Bull granted by Bela
IV to the City of Zagreb in 1242 and a book of regulations and laws of
the Croatian archives service in the period between 1828 and 1997.
