According to a statement from the government's Media and Public
Relations Office, Matesa and Cem discussed bilateral relations,
saying in politics they were excellent, whereas in economy the

They also discussed the situation in the region, concluding it was
necessary to join efforts to define projects in the Stability Pact
for Southeast Europe.
According to a statement from the parliament's Public Relations
Office, Pavletic and Cem pointed to good interparliamentary
relations and the common interest in further intensifying economic
and cultural ties.
The two officials also discussed the political aspects of access to
the European Union, and the problem of media freedom and
