ZAGREB, Oct 6 (Hina) - The director of the Jerusalem-based Simon Wiesenthal Centre, Efraim Zuroff, on Tuesday held talks in Zagreb with Croatian Minister Mate Granic. According to a statement from the Centre, the talks were held at
Zuroff's demand, and focused on the international implications of the recent 20-year-imprisonment sentence the Zagreb County Court gave to Croatian World War Two concentration camp commander Dinko Sakic. The talks also discussed some issues relative to the educational process in Croatia in the context of the spreading of truth about WW2 events, and specific concrete measures to oppose manifestations of racism and anti-Semitism. Zuroff encouraged the idea of the establishment of a team of experts which would investigate crimes committed by Nazi-fascists and their collaborators during WW2 on the territory of the then Independent State of Croatia, as well as crime
ZAGREB, Oct 6 (Hina) - The director of the Jerusalem-based Simon

Zuroff's demand, and focused on the international implications of
the recent 20-year-imprisonment sentence the Zagreb County Court
gave to Croatian World War Two concentration camp commander Dinko
Sakic.
The talks also discussed some issues relative to the educational
process in Croatia in the context of the spreading of truth about

Zuroff encouraged the idea of the establishment of a team of experts
which would investigate crimes committed by Nazi-fascists and
their collaborators during WW2 on the territory of the then
Independent State of Croatia, as well as crimes committed by the
Communist authorities.
The statement added Zuroff was particularly pleased to hear of
Granic's outrage at the publication in Croatia of Adolf Hitler's
"Mein Kampf", as well as of the announcement that the Croatian
government would discuss the possibility of taking concrete steps
to counter the circulation of that and similar publications.
