VUKOVAR, Oct 6 (Hina) - Croatian returnees to the eastern town of Sotin and their Serb fellow residents on Wednesday resumed talks in Vukovar with the aim to collect data on Sotin residents gone missing in the Serb aggression in 1991.
Present at the talks were Vukovar Mayor Vladimir Stengl and Vojislav Stanimirovic, the deputy chairman of the Croatian Government's Trust Establishment Committee and president of the Serb Independent Democratic Party. According to a statement from Stengl's Office, the representatives of the families of the missing presented their Serb fellow residents with a list with the names of about 40 persons believed to have been killed and buried in an as yet unknown site in 1991. Sotin's Croats and Serbs first met for talks on 1 October following

National Trust Establishment Committee chairwoman Vesna Skare-
Ozbolt.
In an attempt to acquaint the Croatian and world public with the
missing persons issue, the families of Sotin's war victims a little
over a month ago began a daily gathering downtown, demanding to know
the truth about the missing fellow residents and the punishment of
war criminals.
