ZAGREB, Oct 20 (Hina) - The first European conference on citizenship, which is being held in the Council of Europe in Strasbourg between October 18 and 22, discusses congruence between the European Convention on Citizenship and
interior legislation of member countries, the Croatian Interior Ministry reported Wednesday. A Croatian delegation at the conference is headed by Croatian Assistant Interior Minister Miljenko Bukovac. The session tackled congruence between laws in Council of Europe member countries and the European Convention on Citizenship. Also discussed was multiple citizenship and measures countries need to take to ensure all people have some citizenship. The Croatian delegation presented positive examples of solving citizenship status in the Croatian Danube River region. The delegation assessed that was one of the most successful examples of solving citizenship status. A

A Croatian Government programme, according to which the majority of
refugees from Croatia realised their rights, granted by Croatia's
interior regulations and international conventions, was also
