ZAGREB ZAGREB, Sept 15 (Hina) - An exhibition of paintings titled the night of the soul by contemporary Austrian painter Hermann Pedit will open in Zagreb on September 16. Pedit witnessed consequences of the tragic war in Croatia and
Bosnia-Herzegovina. His paintings, which are to be exhibited in Zagreb, are his artistic reaction to everything he had seen in the eastern Croatian town of Vukovar and the eastern Bosnian town of Srebrenica. Pedit and organisers of the exhibition held a press conference in Zagreb Wednesday. According to the Austrian painter, the war which took place in the former Yugoslavia in 90s is a paradigm of events of the 20th century.
