ZAGREB, Oct 5 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman on Tuesday appointed Nansi Ivanisevic Minister of Education and Sports, at a suggestion of the Premier. President Tudjman today also reached decisions to relieve of duty former
Education and Sports Minister Bozidar Pugelnik and his deputy Miroslav Doresic. Pugelnik was relieved of duty at his own request, and will return to his MP post in Parliament. Nansi Ivanisevic was formerly assistant head of the Office for Education and Culture of Split-Dalmatia County. Ivanisevic graduated at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb, worked as a teacher in and director of a language school, and is presently completing her post-graduate studies in France. She is married, with two children, and is a resident of the southern Croatian port of Split.(hina) ha jn
