CAKOVEC, Sept 30 (Hina) - Medjimurje County police in northern Croatia on Thursday recorded its biggest success in the prevention of illegal migrations by arresting 59 foreigners in an attempt to illegally cross the Croatian-Slovene
border. After searching the flat and premises used by 58-year-old A.B. from Mihovljani and 53-year-old K.S. from Zemanec Selo, police discovered 58 Turkish and one Iranian citizen. Among the Turks were six women and nine minors. Twenty-eight of the Turks who legally entered Croatia on Monday were released, while the others and the Iranian citizen were fined. Police were already familiar with A.B. and K.S. and their assistance to foreigners to cross into Slovenia with financial compensation.(hina) ha
