ZAGREB, Sept 29 (Hina) - On the occasion of the day of police and the day of its patron Saint Michael, Croatian Interior Minister Ivan Penic on Wednesday presented annual awards of the Croatian Interior Ministry to its most
meritorious employees. The individual annual award was awarded to deputy Interior Minister Josko Moric for his particular contribution to peaceful reintegration of the Croatian Danube River Region and efficient implementation of all operative preventive tasks on the occasion of the visit of Pope John Paul II to Croatia. The annual award was also awarded to Vukovar-Srijem County policemen Lika Kalinic for his merits during exhumations from mass graves and identification of victims killed in the Homeland War.
