ZAGREB, Sept 28 (Hina) - The president of the Croatian Red Cross (HCK), Jadranko Crnic, on Tuesday handed a cheque for DM20,000 to the Turkish Ambassador to Croatia, Selahattin Alpar, for the Turkish population which was struck by an
earthquake in mid-August. The money was paid by Croatian citizens on HCK's special drawing account. Crnic said the action of raising money for Turkish citizens was aimed at helping them despite the difficulties Croatian citizens are facing themselves. "The world is plagued by disasters and problems, but it is also full of good people and I believe the good will win", Crnic said.
