ZAGREB, Sept 3 (Hina) - Croatia on Thursday sent a shipment of medical material and drugs for the victims of a disastrous earthquake which hit Turkey in mid-August. Croatian Health Minister Zeljko Reiner, who handed over the shipment
at Zagreb airport to Turkey's Ambassador Selahattin Alpar, said the shipment included tents, stretchers, sterilisers, and drugs. This is the second shipment Croatia has sent to Turkey and with the first one, it amounts to about DM1.4 million. Reiner said the content of the shipment had been agreed on with the Turkish Health Ministry. He announced that Croatia would next week send another shipment of medical aid, including vaccines against tetanus, donated by the Institute for Immunology.
