ZADAR ZADAR, Sept 8 (Hina) - French Ambassador to Croatia Jean Jacques Gaillard on Wednesday visited Zadar (south Croatia) where he held talks with the county leadership and the Croatian De-Mining Centre (HRC) about the mine clearing
of 130,000 squared metres in the town of Zemunik Donji. France is co-financing the mine clearing project. Deputy Zadar County Prefect Ivo Grabic thanked Gaillard for the help on behalf of the Zadar County, stressing such assistance was necessary to both the Zadar County and the entire Croatia. HRC Council chairman Ivan Majdak said France has been contributing to overcoming the problem of mines. This is a confirmation of the past and future cooperation between the two friendly countries, he said.
