SISAK, Sept 10 (Hina) - A 57-year-old woman, Nevenka Boric, was injured in a mine explosion when she walked in a marked mine-field in the central Croatian village of Novo Seliste, the Sisak-Moslavina police department said in a
statement issued on Friday. Boric entered the mine-field to pick chestnuts, and stepped on a mine which exploded and injured her. She was immediately taken to the Sisak General Hospital where she was diagnosed with serious injuries, but her life is not in danger. Doctors of the Sisak General Hospital amputated Boric's right shin. (hina) it
