VUKOVAR, Aug 9 (Hina) - The oil slick spotted last Saturday on the Danube River near Vukovar had come from the city's sewerage, the Vukovar County Office for Economy reported on Monday. Following an investigation it was established
that the oil had come into the sewerage, severely damaged during the Serbian aggression on the town, from a masut plant of Vukovar's VUPIK food industry. The 100-metre-long and three to five metres wide oil slick, which moved downstream, has not caused any major damage to the river flora and fauna, the same source said.(hina) rml
