CAKOVEC CAKOVEC, July 23 (Hina) - Croatia's Minister of Homeland War Veterans, Juraj Njavro, on Friday handed over keys to flats in Cakovec for nine invalids who had sustained injuries while defending the country. A newly-erected
building with nine flats was constructed in the southern part of Cakovec (70 kilometres north of Zagreb) on the ground donated by the town. The total value of the project was 2.5 million kuna. Another 30 flats for Homeland War veterans and other persons who suffered during the war are being constructed in this northern Croatian town. In autumn 21 war veterans will be granted loans for solving their housing problems. By the end of 2000 Medjimurje County will provide another 180 war veterans with accommodation.(hina) ms
