CROATIAN REPORTERS FORM WAR REPORTERS' CORPS

ZAGREB, July 6 (Hina) - Croatian war reporters on Tuesday formed a war reporters' corps, which will be in charge of the recognition of the soldier status for Homeland War reporters. At a ceremony held at the Croatian Journalists' Association offices, the corps elected Croatian Television reporter Mladen Stubljar its president. Stubljar will participate in drawing up instructions for the implementation of the Defence Ministry's decision on issuing certificates confirming the status of Homeland War soldier for reporters who covered the Homeland War. Defence Minister Pavao Miljavac adopted this decision on June 11 this year. The certificates will be granted to Homeland War reporters who were directly involved in the armed resistance, that is, to those who reported and shot films for radio, television, press and other media in Croatia, or performed duties similar to those of a war reporter in any period from May
