16 VICTIMS OF SERBIAN AGGRESSION ON CROATIA BURIED IN E. CRO VILLAGE

BERAK, July 10 (Hina) - Sixteen victims of the aggression Serbia waged against Croatia earlier this decade were buried in Berak, a village in eastern Croatia, on Saturday. The bodies of the victims, killed in October 1991, were exhumed in the village and the surrounding area, and identified last month. The victims, which include seven soldiers, six members of the Civil Defence, and three civilians, were buried at the local Catholic cemetery with the highest military honours. In attendance, alongside relatives, local residents, and representatives of victims' associations, were delegates of the government, parliament, the Homeland War Veterans, Defence, and Interior Ministries, and local officials.
