Porges and Mangold discussed possibilities of including Croatia's
and Bosnia-Herzegovina's firms into programmes of aeronautical

Porges then talked with a member in the Ruhrgas Management,
Scholler, who reiterated the interest of that company into the
continuation of cooperation in projects of connecting Croatia's
gas supplies net with the Hungarian net, in the construction of gas
supplies system in eastern Slavonia and provision of gas for the
thermoelectric power plant Jeretovac.
Late last night Porges held talks with Slovenia's Economy Minister,
Tea Petrin, on bilateral economic relations and prospects of
agreement on all elements of the Croatian-Slovene treaty about the
nuclear power plant Krsko by July 14.
The Croatian official and Macedonian Premier Ljubce Georgijevski
considered the situation in the wake of the Kosovo conflict, and the
stabilisation of the situation in the region. They also discussed
the bilateral economic cooperation.
On Friday morning, Porges met Bulgaria's Vice Premier Alexander
Boskov.
The talks between Porges and Italy's Minister for European Affairs,
Enrico Letta revolved around Croatia's support to the Stability
Pact in Southeastern Europe.
Minister Letta voiced readiness to establish cooperation with
adequate bodies of Croatia to prepare the country for European
integration processes.
Porges met the World Bank Vice-President Johannes F. Linn, in
charge of Europe and Central Asia, to consider the current
situation in relations between the World Bank and Croatia.
On Friday morning, Minister Porges granted a 40-minute interview to
the TV CNBC net and the Hungarian news agency (MTI), the Economy
Ministry said in a statement.
In Salzburg, Minister Porges held talks with representatives of
Casino Austria who notified him that they were interested in
receiving a licence for gambling-house in Zagreb and that they had
already forwarded a request to the Croatian Finance Ministry, read
the statement.
