During this time, the World Bank has granted US$818 million of loans for Croatian projects, and millions of dollars for technical assistance. Linn, the highest ranking World Bank official to visit Croatia to
date, told reporters he was very satisfied with World Bank-Croatian
relations.
On Tuesday Linn will visit eastern Croatia where projects
financially supported by the World Bank are being implemented.
He will then visit the southern Croatian port Ploce, whose harbour
is being reconstructed with World Bank assistance, and Split, where
he will discuss the implementation of environment protection
projects and a project suggested for the preservation of the
cultural heritage.
