SARAJEVO, June 22 (Hina) - Bosnia-Herzegovina authorities will invest more efforts in fulfilling conditions for joining the Council of Europe as a full member, Chairman of the Bosnia- Herzegovina Presidency Ante Jelavic told a press
conference in Sarajevo on Monday. Jelavic held talks with the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe chairman, Hallsor Asgrimsson, and Secretary General Daniel Tarschysom. After the talks, Jelavic told reporters that the BH Presidency would be an example of how to strengthen the work of joint institutions in BH, adding the same was expected from the Parliament and the Council of Ministers. invest more efforts in fulfilling conditions for joining the
Council of Europe as a full member, Chairman of the Bosnia-
Herzegovina Presidency Ante Jelavic told a press conference in
Sarajevo on Monday.
Jelavic held talks with the Committee of Ministers of the Council of
Europe chairman, Hallsor Asgrimsson, and Secretary General Daniel
Tarschysom.
After the talks, Jelavic told reporters that the BH Presidency
would be an example of how to strengthen the work of joint
institutions in BH, adding the same was expected from the
Parliament and the Council of Ministers.

Asgrimsson, who is also the Icelandic Foreign Minister, said that
Bosnia-Herzegovina senior officials sincerely wish to join the
Council of Europe. Asgrimsson added it was important that all BH
citizens invested efforts in achieving that goal.
BH should enter integrated Europe without internal division lines,
Asgrimsson said.
The Council of Europe Secretary General said BH should strengthen
as a united state, adding this was a pre-condition of Bosnia's
cooperation with other European countries.
