ZAGREB, May 13 (Hina) - Croatia's Government on Thursday drew up a draft act on ratification of the contract on a loan between Croatia and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The contract ensures the technical
assistance in the procedure of institutional and legislative changes made to stimulate the development of the private sector. The Government accepted a report on the execution of the 1998 state budget and issued a decree on the guaranteed prices of crops of wheat, sunflower, soy beam, sugar beet and tobacco for 1999. It confirmed the state interest in constructing an international border crossing Vinjani Doji (southern Croatia)- Gorica (southern Bosnia-Herzegovina). development of the private sector.
The Government accepted a report on the execution of the 1998 state
budget and issued a decree on the guaranteed prices of crops of
wheat, sunflower, soy beam, sugar beet and tobacco for 1999.

The Government agreed on the conclusion of a contract which should
be made between the Rijeka-Zagreb highway society and the European
Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The contract will
ensure the entire amount necessary for the completion of this
motorway.
It also granted subsidies for a one-week free vacation of foreign
and domestic tourists who were in Dubrovnik-Neretva County areas
while they were hit by fire last year, stated the Government public
relations office.
