CROATIAN SCIENCE MINISTER VISITS MOSTAR

MOSTAR, May 14 (Hina) - On behalf of Ante Jelavic, the Croat member in Bosnia-Herzegovina's collective Presidency, the Croat-Moslem Federation President, Ivo Andric-Luzanski, on Friday received Croatia's Minister of Science and Technology, Milena Zic-Fuchs. According to a statement released by Jelavic's Office, Andric- Luzanski thanked for the overall help which the Croatian Government and its Science and Technology Ministry offered to the Bosnian Croat people. The Federal President advocated the continuation of the cooperation, and stressed that material and expert assistance was necessary for Mostar University with 5,500 undergraduates. Croatia's Minister said a long-term inter-state cooperation should be promoted in science, culture and sports since only in this way Bosnian Croats could build a better future for themselves, the statement read. After the talks, the participants said they had discussed, on principle, the elaboration of annexes to the Agreement on Special Relations between Croatia and the Bosnian Federation. We shall persist on the clarity of all agreements between Croatia and the Federation and of the entire cooperation which entails from these agreements, Minister Zic-Fuchs said. (hina) ms
