Croatian Interior Ministry said in a statement on Thursday. Croatian Interior Minister Ivan Penic today received the incoming Russian Ambassador to Croatia, Eduard Kuzmin. The two officials stressed the interest of their countries in strengthening the legal basis for cooperation between the two ministries, especially as regards fighting international organised crime and terrorism, the statement read. In that regard, the Croatian and Russian ministries of interior are preparing a memorandum on cooperation. Preparations for another agreement, regulating cooperation in the field of interior affairs, are expected to begin as well, the statement said.(hina) rml
